Why it matters

Tesla won the sedan and the SUV here. The ute is still open.

01

We already drive Teslas

Model Y is a volume leader in both countries, and AU and NZ were among the first right-hand-drive markets for Full Self-Driving (Supervised). The customers and the Superchargers are here. The pickup is the missing piece.

02

This is ute country

From the Pilbara to the Waikato, utes carry work and weekends. Cybertruck is the Tesla that can tow the camper, haul the tools, and replace a dual-cab.

03

Tesla AU & NZ is in our corner

The local team has said it is advocating for a right-hand-drive Cybertruck, and the changes needed for ADR are described as modest. The final call sits with Tesla in the US. A clear local count helps make the case.

How it works

Three steps. One clear signal.

Step 1

Add your name

Tell us where you are and how you would use the truck. It takes about 30 seconds.

Step 2

Share it

One tap to X, Facebook, or email. Every local who adds their name makes the count stronger.

Step 3

We share the count

We share aggregated totals — by state, island, and use — with Tesla Australia and New Zealand. Never your personal details.

Interest register

Put your name on it.

A clear, countable signal that you want a factory right-hand-drive Cybertruck in Australia and New Zealand.

What we store: your name, email, state or island, how you would use the truck, and your optional note.

How we use it: only to count local interest. We share totals, never your details, and we never sell the list. To be removed, email hello@cyberute.com.au.

By adding your name you agree we can count it in aggregated totals. Private, never sold.

You’re on the register.

Thanks — your name has been saved and will be counted. Now make it count twice: share it with one other local.

The truck

Metric numbers for ute country.

Published Cybertruck figures, shown the way we compare utes. A local truck would need ADR lighting, bumper changes, and a right-hand cabin — the same vehicle, built for here.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Who runs this?

An independent grassroots effort from Tesla owners and ute drivers in Australia and New Zealand. We speak for demand — Tesla makes the product decision. Questions: hello@cyberute.com.au.

What does adding my name do?

It records your interest, and nothing more. We share aggregated counts so Tesla Australia and New Zealand can see local demand for a factory right-hand-drive Cybertruck.

How do I know it worked?

As soon as your name is saved you will see “You’re on the register” on this page. We don’t send a confirmation email at the moment. If you see an error instead, nothing was saved — just try again.

What happens to my details?

We keep them private and never sell them. Only totals are shared. Email hello@cyberute.com.au any time to be removed.

Why isn’t Cybertruck here yet?

Cybertruck launched in left-hand drive, and the right-hand-drive decision sits with Tesla in the US. Tesla’s local team has said it is advocating for it. This register makes local demand easy to see.

Does New Zealand count?

Absolutely. Same right-hand-drive need, same ute culture, same ask.
